Simple Economical Savory Stir-Fry Noodles

In Chinese culture, the long strands of Mien (Noodles) symbolize longevity and often served in birthday celebration, similar to a candlelit cake. So…, don’t go cutting/breaking up your noodles! Slurp, slurp your heart away! Ha..ha.. Here is a simple and yet savory Simple Stir-Fry Yellow Noodles – the yellow kind, not your typical Chinese Mien. Not much ingredient, just fresh Bean sprout and sliced Fish cakes (in fact, U don’t even have this in the original version and that’s why its call Economic Noodles 😁).

IngredientS

MAIN :

  • Yellow mee, Bean sprouts, sliced Fish cake and some sliced Chili.

SEASONING :

  • Salt, Sugar, Dark soy (for coloring), White pepper and Oyster sauce. All to taste. ** Note : Just dash of everything, if U prefer a stronger intensity of an ingredient flavor, simply add a little extra of that ingredient/spice – no rocket scientific measurement here. Always taste your Seasoning !!!

MethoD

  • Step 1 : Start by sauteing some chopped Garlic and the sliced Fish Cakes till aromatic. Then add the Mee, give a few quick stirs, just to brown/sear the mee a little. Add all the Seasoning Ingredients, Bean Sprout and sliced Chilli, stir and mix well again. Simple, there U have it, ur simple savory plate of “Simple Stir-Fry Yellow Noodles” is ready.
