Delicious Leftover Meat Dish

These are leftover pork from the “Bak Kut Teh” – click for details. The VianD simply sliced the pork that was already packed with the “Bak Kut Teh” herbs flavors. In fact, you can prepare this dish using leftover poached pork/meat from any soup and it will taste great ! Nothing is added except, Shallots, Spring Onion and Gingers, just to further enhance the flavor of the dish. The kids love it and it is a great way to take care of leftovers. MAIN :

  • Leftover poached pork that has been boiled in any soup.
    ~
    Sliced Ginger, Shallot and Scallion.

MARINATING :

  • Salt, Sugar, a dash of Sesame oil, White pepper and Oyster sauce. All to taste. ** Note : Just dash of everything, if U prefer a stronger intensity of an ingredient flavor, simply add a little extra of that ingredient/spice – no rocket scientific measurement here. Always taste your Seasoning !!!

  • Step 1 : Start by sauteing the Shallots, Garlics and Gingers till aromatic. Add Pork Slices and saute a while till Fat render. Add water, bring to boil and simmer till sauce thicken slightly. Add the Spring Onion and simmer a little more. Add all the Seasoning Ingredients. Ur delicious plate of “Stir Fried Pork Slices” is ready to be served hot.
