“Simple Is As Simple Does”
Two simple main Ingredients – Fried Tofu and French Beans. Tat’s it and it’s is good enough to have a place on The VianD’s dining table any day. The soft texture of the Tofu, contrast by the crunchiness of the Bean – works wonderfully to produce a simple economical healthy delicious dish. While the dish presented here is the simplest form and basically a vegetarian dish, U can easily spike it up by adding any desired sliced meat or seafood condiments. Here’s The Viand’s take on “Stir-Fry Tofu with French Beans“.
- Sliced Fried-tofu (or any harder texture Tofu), French Beans – cut to 1-3 inches long. Sliced red Chilli and Ginger.
- Salt, Sugar, white pepper, a touch of Oyster sauce, Sesame oil and a dash of Shaoxing wine. All to taste. ** Note : Just dash/pinch of everything, if U prefer a stronger intensity of an ingredient flavor, simply add a little extra of that ingredient/spice – no rocket scientific measurement here. Always taste your Seasoning !!!
- Step 1 : Start by sauteing some chopped Garlic and sliced Ginger till aromatic. Add in the Tofu, give it a few quick stirs, just to brown the white part of the Tofu a little. Add the Beans and a few more quick stirs. Add a little water, this will be the sauce. Bring to boil, add all the Seasoning Ingredients, sliced Chilli, and viola, ur plate of “Stir-Fry Tofu with French Beans” is ready to be served hot.
