Print-GONG ZAI MIAN (INSTANT NOODLES – HONG KONG’S STYLE)

INGREDIENTS

Main :

  • Instant Noodles (any brand will do – here’s a famous Korean Ramen), Eggs, Sliced Ham (or Luncheon meat) and Sausages.
METHOD

Start by frying the Egg. Then lightly saute the Sausages and Ham. Set aside.

Then boil the Instant Noodles till ‘Al Dente’ (soggy Noodles are BAD Noodles). Loosen the Noodles by a pair of Chopstick or Tong. Make sure the water is boiling b4 putting in the Noodles. Drained Noodles. Run thru cold water to stop it form continue cooking and get rid of starch. Set aside.

Bring another pot of water to boil. Measure the amount by the size of the bowl U would serve the Noodles (minus a little). One bowl to one pack of Noodles. Add in all the pre-packed seasoning (less if U like).

Doing the soup-base separately is to make sure U Do NOT get a bowl of waxy soup..LoL Meanwhile separately Noodles into individual bowl. Top with the Fried Egg and sauteed Sausages/Ham. Add soup and, garnish and serve hot immediately else the Noodles will get soggy !
