Print-Stir-Fried Dark Soy Spaghetti


Main :

  • Spaghetti – this is The Viand preferred brand.
  • Sliced Onion, smoked Bacon strips, Fish cake, red Carrot and red chili. A couple of Prawns. Frankly, U can add any meat condiments U fancy.

Seasoning :

  • Dark soy, Sugar, Salt, black Pepper a touch of Oyster sauce and Sesame oil. All to taste. ** Note : Just dash/pinch of everything, if U prefer a stronger intensity of an ingredient flavor, simply add a little extra of that ingredient/spice (no rocket scientific measurement here). Always taste your Seasoning !!!

Start by boiling the Spaghetti with a pinch of Salt till Al dente (abt 8-10 mins, depending on ur heat). Meanwhile, when the Spaghetti is halfway cook, on medium heat, start sautéing the sliced Onion and Bacon till Onion soften a little with the Bacon fat slightly rendered out. Move aside, with some chopped Garlic, add the rest of the Ingredients except red Chili and saute till aromatic.

When the Spaghetti is done, simply transfer over to the Wok with a Kitchen Tong, its ok to have a little water. Add the red Chili and all the Seasoning Ingredients, turn up the heat, stir and mix well – making sure not to break the Spaghetti. Viola, ur plate of delicious “Stir-Fried Dark Soy Spaghetti” is ready to be served hot.
